⁹ These are the records of the generations of Noah. Noah was a ^(A)righteous man, ^[a](B)blameless in his generation. Noah ^(C)walked with God.

Abraham and the Covenant of Circumcision

17 Now when Abram was ninety-nine years old, ^(A)the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him,

^13 (A)You are to be blameless before the Lord your God.

^61 (A)Your hearts therefore shall be ^[a]wholly devoted to the Lord our God, to walk in His statutes and to keep His commandments, as at this day.”

⁴ For when Solomon was old, his wives turned his heart away ^[a]to follow other gods; and ^(A)his heart was not ^[b]wholly devoted to the Lord his God, as the heart of his father David had been.

⁹ For ^(A)the eyes of the Lord roam throughout the earth, so that He may strongly support those ^(B)whose heart is completely His. You have acted foolishly in this. Indeed, from now on you will have wars.”

¹⁷ But the high places were not removed from Israel; nevertheless Asa’s heart was blameless all his days.

⁹ Then he commanded them, saying, “This is what you shall do in the fear of the Lord, faithfully and wholeheartedly.

³ “Please, Lord, just ^(A)remember ^(B)how I have walked before You wholeheartedly and in truth, and have done what is good in Your sight!” And ^(C)Hezekiah wept ^[a]profusely.
