¹⁴ Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. ^(A)Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”

³ I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.

^43 (A)If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life ^[a]maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to ^[b]hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched—

⁴⁵ And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame, rather than having two feet, to be cast into ^[a]hell, ^[b]into the fire that shall never be quenched—

⁴⁷ And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into ^[a]hell fire— ⁴⁸ where

²² But I say to you that ^(A)whoever is angry with his brother ^[a]without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ^(B)‘Raca!’^[b] shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ^[c]‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of ^[d]hell fire.

²⁸ But I say to you that whoever ^(A)looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. ^29 (B)If your right eye causes you to ^[a]sin, ^(C)pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
