⁶ who, ^(A)being in the form of God, did not consider it ^[a]robbery to be equal with God, ^7 (B)but ^[b]made Himself of no reputation, taking the form ^(C)of a bondservant, and ^(D)coming in the likeness of men. ⁸ And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and ^(E)became ^(F)obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

¹⁶ For ^(A)by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or ^(B)dominions or ^[a]principalities or ^[b]powers. All things were created ^(C)through Him and for Him. ^17 (D)And He is before all things, and in Him ^(E)all things consist. ¹⁸ And ^(F)He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, ^(G)the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

Reconciled in Christ

¹⁹ For it pleased the Father that ^(H)in Him all the fullness should dwell, ²⁰ and ^(I)by Him to reconcile ^(J)all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, ^(K)having made peace through the blood of His cross.
