^13 (A)each one’s work will become evident; for ^(B)the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test ^[a]the quality of each one’s work.

¹⁹ Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: ^(A)sexual immorality, impurity, indecent behavior, ²⁰ idolatry, ^(B)witchcraft, hostilities, ^(C)strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, ^(D)selfish ambition, dissensions, ^(E)factions, ²¹ envy, ^(F)drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not ^(G)inherit the kingdom of God.

¹² for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. ¹³ But all things become visible ^(A)when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.

⁹ No one who has been ^(A)born of God practices sin, because His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin continually, because he has been born of God. ¹⁰ By this the ^(B)children of God and the ^(C)children of the devil are obvious: ^[a]anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who ^(D)does not love his ^(E)brother and sister.
