¹⁸ Also Jehoiada appointed the oversight of the house of the Lord to the hand of the priests, the Levites, whom David had ^(A)assigned in the house of the Lord, to offer the burnt offerings of the Lord, as it is written in the ^(B)Law of Moses, with rejoicing and with singing, as it was established by David.

² And Hezekiah appointed ^(A)the divisions of the priests and the Levites according to their divisions, each man according to his service, the priests and Levites ^(B)for burnt offerings and peace offerings, to serve, to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the ^[a]camp of the Lord.

¹⁴ Nevertheless I will make them ^(A)keep charge of the temple, for all its work, and for all that has to be done in it.
