13 We are not like Moses, who used to put a veil over his face(A) to prevent the Israelites from gazing steadily until the end[a] of the glory of what was being set aside, 14 but their minds were hardened.(B) For to this day, at the reading of the old covenant,(C) the same veil remains; it is not lifted, because it is set aside only in Christ.(D) 15 Yet still today, whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their hearts,

13 We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face(A) to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away. 14 But their minds were made dull,(B) for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant(C) is read.(D) It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. 15 Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts.
