²³ then the Lord will ^(A)drive out all these nations from before you, and you will ^(B)dispossess greater and mightier nations than yourselves. ^24 (C)Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours: ^(D)from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the River Euphrates, even to the ^[a]Western Sea, shall be your territory.

³² And they ^(A)gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and ^(B)all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. ³³ There we saw the ^[a]giants (^(C)the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were ^(D)like^[b] grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were ^(E)in their sight.”
