¹² The Spirit then lifted me up,^(A) and I heard a loud rumbling sound behind me—bless the glory of the Lord in his place!—

¹⁴ The Spirit lifted me up and took me away. I left in bitterness and in an angry spirit, and the Lord’s hand was on me powerfully.^(A)

³ He stretched out what appeared to be a hand and took me by the hair of my head. Then the Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven and carried me in visions of God^(A) to Jerusalem, to the entrance of the inner gate that faces north, where the offensive statue that provokes jealousy^(B) was located.
