¹⁸ So Abram moved his tent and came and ^(A)settled by the ^(B)oaks^[a] of Mamre, which ^(C)are at Hebron, and there he built an altar to the Lord.

¹³ Then one who had escaped came and told Abram the Hebrew, ^(A)who was living by the ^(B)oaks^[a] of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol and of Aner. These were allies of Abram.
