⁶ But Christ is faithful as the Son^(A) over God’s house. And we are his house,^(B) if indeed we hold firmly^(C) to our confidence and the hope^(D) in which we glory.

¹⁴ We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold^(A) our original conviction firmly to the very end.^(B)

²⁷ To them God has chosen to make known^(A) among the Gentiles the glorious riches^(B) of this mystery, which is Christ in you,^(C) the hope of glory.

²⁴ For in this hope we were saved.^(A) But hope that is seen is no hope at all.^(B) Who hopes for what they already have?

² Dear friends,^(A) now we are children of God,^(B) and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears,^[a](C) we shall be like him,^(D) for we shall see him as he is.^{(E) 3} All who have this hope in him purify themselves,^(F) just as he is pure.^(G)

⁵ who through faith are shielded by God’s power^(A) until the coming of the salvation^(B) that is ready to be revealed^(C) in the last time. ⁶ In all this you greatly rejoice,^(D) though now for a little while^(E) you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.^(F)

⁹ for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.^(A)
