Hebrews 1:6-8

The Voice

⁶Now, when the Son, the firstborn of God, was brought into the world, God said,

Let all My heavenly messengers worship Him.^[a]

⁷Concerning them, God said,

I make My heavenly messengers like the winds,
and My servants like a flame.^[b]

⁸But to the Son He said,

God, Your throne is eternal;
You will rule Your kingdom with the scepter of justice.

⁶And again, when God brings his firstborn^(A) into the world,^(B) he says,

“Let all God’s angels worship him.”^[a]^(C)

⁷In speaking of the angels he says,

“He makes his angels spirits,
and his servants flames of fire.”^[b]^(D)

⁸But about the Son he says,

“Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever;^(E)
a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
