^9 [a]This was ^(A)the true Light ^[b]that, coming into the world, enlightens every person.

³⁶ While you have the Light, ^(A)believe in the Light, so that you may become ^(B)sons of Light.”

These things Jesus proclaimed, and He went away and ^(C)hid Himself from them.

²¹ But the one who ^(A)practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds will be revealed ^[a]as having been performed in God.”
