²⁶For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life^(A) in himself.

²⁶For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

¹⁶Simon Peter replied, ^(A)“You are ^(B)the Christ, ^(C)the Son of ^(D)the living God.”

¹⁶Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”^(A)
