⁵²Then the Jews^(A) began to argue sharply among themselves,^(B) “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”

⁶⁰^(A)When many of his disciples heard it, they said, “This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?”

⁶⁰On hearing it, many of his disciples^(A) said, “This is a hard teaching. Who can accept it?”^(B)
