Luke 9:58-60

⁵⁸ Jesus told him,

⁵⁹ He told another man, “Follow me.”

But he said, “Lord,^[c] first let me go and bury my father.”

⁶⁰ But he told him, “Let the dead bury their own dead. But you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.”
