30 (A)And after singing a [a]hymn, they went out to (B)the Mount of Olives.

31 Then Jesus *said to them, “You will all [b](C)fall away because of Me this night, for it is written: ‘(D)I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be (E)scattered.’ 32 But after I have been raised, (F)I will go ahead of you to Galilee.” 33 But Peter replied to Him, “Even if they all [c]fall away because of You, I will never fall away!” 34 Jesus said to him, (G)Truly I say to you that (H)this very night, before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” 35 Peter *said to Him, “(I)Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!” All the disciples said the same thing as well.

34 “Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.”(F)

35 But Peter declared, “Even if I have to die with you,(G) I will never disown you.” And all the other disciples said the same.
