36 And [a]his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God: and Ezra the Scribe went before them.
37 And to the gate of the fountain, even over against them went they up by the [b]stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall beyond the house of David, even unto the water gate Eastward.
38 And the second company of them that gave thanks, went on the other side, and I after them, and the half of the people was upon the wall, and upon the tower of the furnaces even unto the broad wall.
