You are destroyed, people of ^(B)Chemosh!
^(C)He has given his sons as fugitives,
^(D)And his daughters into captivity,
To an Amorite king, Sihon.

⁷ For because of your ^(A)trust in your own achievements and treasures,
You yourself will also be captured;
And ^(B)Chemosh will go off into exile
Together with his priests and his leaders.
