¹⁷ Then for the unclean person they shall take some of the ^[a]ashes of the ^[b]burnt ^[c](A)purification from sin and ^[d]flowing water shall be ^[e]added to them in a vessel.

⁴ When the Lord has washed away the filth of the ^(A)daughters of Zion and rinsed away the ^(B)bloodshed of Jerusalem from her midst, by the ^(C)spirit of judgment and the ^(D)spirit of burning,

²⁵ Then I will ^[a](A)sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your ^(B)uncleanness and from all your ^(C)idols.
