¹⁶ For I am not ^(A)ashamed of the gospel, for ^(B)it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the ^(C)Jew first and also to ^(D)the Greek.

The Wisdom of God

¹⁸ For the word of the cross is ^(A)foolishness to ^(B)those who ^[a]are perishing, but to us who ^[b]are being saved it is ^(C)the power of God.

²⁴ but to those who are ^(A)the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ ^(B)the power of God and ^(C)the wisdom of God.

⁵ holding to a form of ^[a](A)godliness although they have ^(B)denied its power; ^(C)avoid such people as these.
