Titus 1:9-14

^9 (A)holding firmly the faithful word which is in accordance with the teaching, so that he will be able both to ^[a]exhort in ^(B)sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict it.

^10 (C)For there are many ^(D)rebellious people, ^(E)empty talkers and deceivers, especially ^(F)those of the circumcision, ¹¹ who must be silenced because they are upsetting ^(G)whole families, teaching ^(H)things they should not teach ^(I)for the sake of ^[b]dishonest gain. ¹² One of them, a prophet of their own, said, “^(J)Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.” ¹³ This testimony is true. For this reason ^(K)reprimand them ^(L)severely so that they may be ^(M)sound in the faith, ¹⁴ not paying attention to Jewish ^(N)myths and ^(O)commandments of men who ^(P)turn away from the truth.
