⁸ And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the ^(A)lamb for a ^(B)burnt offering.” So the two of them went together.

³ Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: ‘On the ^(A)tenth of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household.

¹⁴ Now ^(A)it was the Preparation Day of the Passover, and about the sixth hour. And he said to the Jews, “Behold your King!”

⁷ Therefore ^[a]purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed ^(A)Christ, our ^(B)Passover, was sacrificed ^[b]for us.

⁴⁶ In one house it shall be eaten; you shall not carry any of the flesh outside the house, ^(A)nor shall you break one of its bones.

^12 (A)They shall leave none of it until morning, ^(B)nor break one of its bones. ^(C)According to all the ^[a]ordinances of the Passover they shall keep it.

³⁶ For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled, ^(A)“Not one of His bones shall be broken.”

²⁵ Then he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering, ^(A)and the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering and put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.

¹⁹ but ^(A)with the precious blood of Christ, ^(B)as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
