³³ who by faith ^(A)conquered kingdoms, ^(B)performed acts of righteousness, ^(C)obtained promises, ^(D)shut the mouths of lions, ^34 (E)quenched the power of fire, ^(F)escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, ^(G)became mighty in war, ^(H)put foreign armies to flight. ^35 (I)Women received back their dead by resurrection; and others were tortured, not accepting their ^[a]release, so that they might obtain a better resurrection;
