6 No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; (A)no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him. 7 Little children, (B)let no one deceive you. (C)Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous. 8 (D)Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was (E)to destroy the works of the devil. 9 (F)No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God's[a] seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God.

6 No one who lives in him keeps on sinning.(A) No one who continues to sin has either seen him(B) or known him.(C)
7 Dear children,(D) do not let anyone lead you astray.(E) The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous.(F) 8 The one who does what is sinful is of the devil,(G) because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God(H) appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.(I) 9 No one who is born of God(J) will continue to sin,(K) because God’s seed(L) remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.
