⁶ Jonathan said to the attendant who carried his weapons, “Come on, let’s cross over to the garrison of these uncircumcised men.^(A) Perhaps the Lord will help us. Nothing can keep the Lord from saving, whether by many or by few.”^(B)

²⁵ “The days are coming”—the Lord’s declaration—“when I will punish all the circumcised yet uncircumcised:^{(A) 26} Egypt, Judah, Edom, the Ammonites, Moab, and all the inhabitants of the desert who clip the hair on their temples.^[a] All these nations are uncircumcised, and the whole house of Israel is uncircumcised in heart.”^(B)
