The Corinthians’ Repentance

7 Therefore,^(A) having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

¹⁰ For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, ^(A)that we may be partakers of His holiness.

^14 (A)Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, ^(B)without which no one will see the Lord:

^15 (A)but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, ¹⁶ because it is written, ^(B)“Be holy, for I am holy.”

¹⁷ And if you call on the Father, who ^(C)without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your ^[a]stay here in fear;
