Daniel 4:12-14
English Standard Version
12 (A)Its leaves were beautiful and its fruit abundant, and in it was food for all. (B)The beasts of the field found shade under it, and (C)the birds of the heavens lived in its branches, and all flesh was fed from it.
13 “I saw in (D)the visions of my head as I lay in bed, and behold, (E)a watcher, (F)a holy one, came down from heaven. 14 He (G)proclaimed aloud and said thus: (H)‘Chop down the tree and (I)lop off its branches, (J)strip off its leaves and scatter its fruit. (K)Let the beasts flee from under it and the birds from its branches.

12 Its leaves were beautiful, its fruit abundant, and on it was food for all. Under it the wild animals found shelter, and the birds lived in its branches;(A) from it every creature was fed.
13 “In the visions I saw while lying in bed,(B) I looked, and there before me was a holy one,(C) a messenger,[a] coming down from heaven. 14 He called in a loud voice: ‘Cut down the tree(D) and trim off its branches; strip off its leaves and scatter its fruit. Let the animals flee from under it and the birds from its branches.(E)
