²⁶ And in that it was commanded to ^(A)leave the stump ^[a]with the roots of the tree, your kingdom will ^[b]remain as yours after you recognize that it is ^(B)Heaven that rules.

²³ but you have ^(A)risen up against the ^(B)Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of His house before you, and you and your nobles, your wives, and your concubines have been drinking wine out of them; and you have praised the ^(C)gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which do not see, nor hear, nor understand.
