⁵ Instead, you must turn to the place Yahweh your God chooses from all your tribes to put His name for His dwelling and go there.

³ The Lord said to him:

³² but one tribe will remain his because of my servant David^(A) and because of Jerusalem, the city I chose out of all the tribes of Israel.^(B)

³⁶ I will give one tribe^(A) to his son,^(B) so that My servant David will always have a lamp before Me^(C) in Jerusalem, the city I chose for Myself to put My name there.^(D)
