¹⁸ Therefore God led the people around by way of the wilderness to the ^[a]Red Sea; and the sons of Israel went up ^(A)in battle formation from the land of Egypt.

The Lord Provides Water

^22 (A)Then Moses ^[a]led Israel from the ^[b]Red Sea, and they went out into ^(B)the wilderness of ^(C)Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness and found no water.

¹⁵ He who led you through ^(A)the great and terrible wilderness, with its ^(B)fiery serpents and scorpions, and its thirsty ground where there was no water; He who ^(C)brought water for you out of the rock of flint.
