¹⁷ And I have promised you that I will bring you up from the misery of Egypt^(A) to the land of the Canaanites, Hethites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites—a land flowing with milk and honey.

²⁴ And I promised you: You will inherit their land, since I will give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey.^(A) I am the Lord your God who set you apart from the peoples.

²⁷ They reported to Moses, “We went into the land where you sent us. Indeed it is flowing with milk and honey,^(A) and here is some of its fruit.

³ Listen, Israel, and be careful to follow them, so that you may prosper and multiply greatly, because the Lord, the God of your ancestors, has promised you a land flowing with milk and honey.^(A)

⁹ He led us to this place and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey.^(A)

¹⁵ Look down from your holy dwelling, from heaven, and bless your people Israel and the land you have given us as you swore to our ancestors, a land flowing with milk and honey.

³ Write all the words of this law on the stones after you cross to enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey,^(A) as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, has promised you.

²⁰ When I bring them into the land I swore to give their ancestors, a land flowing with milk and honey,^(A) they will eat their fill^(B) and prosper.^[a] They will turn to other gods and worship them, despising me^(C) and breaking my covenant.^(D)

⁶ For the Israelites wandered in the wilderness forty years until all the nation’s men of war who came out of Egypt had died off because they did not obey the Lord.^(A) So the Lord vowed never to let them see the land he had sworn to their ancestors to give us, a land flowing with milk and honey.^(B)

⁵ in order to establish the oath I swore to your ancestors,^(A) to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is today.’”

I answered, “Amen, Lord.”^(B)
