¹⁶ Am I then made an enemy to you, saying to you the sooth? [Therefore am I made enemy to you, saying true thing to you?]

¹⁷ They love not you well [They love you not well], but they will exclude you, that ye follow them.

¹⁸ But follow ye the good evermore in good, and not only when I am present with you.
