¹⁴Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make ^[a]rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch.

¹⁴So make yourself an ark of cypress^[a] wood;^(A) make rooms in it and coat it with pitch^(B) inside and out.

⁹^(A)Its streams shall be turned into pitch,
And its dust into brimstone;
Its land shall become burning pitch.

⁹Edom’s streams will be turned into pitch,
her dust into burning sulfur;^(A)
her land will become blazing pitch!
