¹⁶ And I will make your descendants like the dust of the earth, so that if a man could count the dust of the earth, then could your descendants also be counted.^(A)

²² As the host of [the stars of] the heavens cannot be numbered nor the sand of the sea be measured, so will I multiply the offspring of David My servant and the Levites who minister to Me.

⁴² Exclaiming, Would that you had known personally, even at least in this your day, the things that make for peace (for ^[a]freedom from all the distresses that are experienced as the result of sin and upon which your peace—your ^[b]security, safety, prosperity, and happiness—depends)! But now they are hidden from your eyes.
