¹² Then he said, “Do not lay a hand on the boy or do anything to him. For now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your only son from me.”^(A)

¹⁸ On the third day Joseph said to them, “I fear God^(A)—do this and you will live.

⁷ For many dreams bring futility; so do many words.^(A) Therefore, fear God.

¹³ When all has been heard, the conclusion of the matter is this: fear God^(A) and keep his commands, because this is for all^[a] humanity.^(B)

¹⁶ Paul stood up and motioned with his hand and said, “Fellow Israelites, and you who fear God, listen!^(A)

²⁶ “Brothers and sisters, children of Abraham’s race, and those among you who fear God, it is to us that the word of this salvation has been sent.^(A)

¹⁷ Honor everyone. Love^(A) the brothers and sisters.^(B) Fear God.^(C) Honor the emperor.
