¹¹ For you this whole vision^(A) is nothing but words sealed^(B) in a scroll. And if you give the scroll to someone who can read, and say, “Read this, please,” they will answer, “I can’t; it is sealed.” ¹² Or if you give the scroll to someone who cannot read, and say, “Read this, please,” they will answer, “I don’t know how to read.”

¹⁴ ‘This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Take these documents, both the sealed^(A) and unsealed copies of the deed of purchase, and put them in a clay jar so they will last a long time.

²⁶ “The vision of the evenings and mornings that has been given you is true,^(A) but seal^(B) up the vision, for it concerns the distant future.”^(C)

⁴ But you, Daniel, roll up and seal^(A) the words of the scroll until the time of the end.^(B) Many will go here and there^(C) to increase knowledge.”
