Isaiah 41:7-9

⁷ So the ^(A)craftsman encourages the ^(B)smelter,
And he who smooths metal with the hammer encourages him who beats the anvil,
Saying of the soldering, “It is good”;
And he fastens it with nails,
^(C)So that it will not totter.
⁸ “But you, Israel, ^(D)My servant,
Jacob whom I have chosen,
Descendant of ^(E)Abraham My ^(F)friend,
⁹ You whom I have ^[a](G)taken from the ends of the earth
And called from its ^(H)remotest parts,
And said to you, ‘You are ^(I)My servant,
I have ^(J)chosen you and have not rejected you.
