⁹ For My Name’s sake I defer My anger,
for My praise I will restrain it for you—
otherwise I would cut you off.
¹⁰ Behold, I have refined you,
    though not as silver.
I tested you in the furnace of affliction.^[a]
11 For My own sake, for My own sake, I act.
For how should I be profaned?
I will not give My glory to another.
