20 (A)To the teaching and to the testimony! If they will not speak according to this word, it is because they have no (B)dawn. 21 They will pass through the land,[a] greatly distressed and hungry. And when they are hungry, they will be enraged and will speak contemptuously against[b] their king and their God, and turn their faces upwards.

20 Consult God’s instruction(A) and the testimony of warning.(B) If anyone does not speak according to this word, they have no light(C) of dawn. 21 Distressed and hungry,(D) they will roam through the land;(E) when they are famished, they will become enraged and, looking upward, will curse(F) their king and their God.
