¹⁸ “Come now, and ^(A)let us ^[a]debate your case,”
Says the Lord,
“^(B)Though your sins are as scarlet,
They shall become as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be like wool.

² “^(A)Speak ^[a]kindly to Jerusalem;
And call out to her, that her ^[b](B)warfare has ended,
That her ^[c](C)guilt has been removed,
That she has received of the Lord’s hand
^(D)Double for all her sins.”

²² I have ^(A)wiped out your wrongdoings like a thick cloud
And your sins like a ^[a]heavy mist.
^(B)Return to Me, for I have ^(C)redeemed you.”
