¹⁷ “Son of man, I have made you a watchman over the house of Israel.^(A) When you hear a word from My mouth, give them a warning from Me.^(B)

²⁸ Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock^(A) that the Holy Spirit has appointed you to as overseers,^(B) to shepherd the church of God,^[a] which He purchased with His own blood.^(C)
