³¹ The prophets prophesy lies,^(A)
    the priests^(B) rule by their own authority,
and my people love it this way.
    But what will you do in the end?^(C)

¹³ Though they offer sacrifices as gifts to me,
    and though they eat^(A) the meat,
    the Lord is not pleased with them.^(B)
Now he will remember^(C) their wickedness
    and punish their sins:^(D)
    They will return to Egypt.^(E)

⁹ They have sunk deep into corruption,^(A)
    as in the days of Gibeah.^(B)
God will remember^(C) their wickedness
    and punish them for their sins.^(D)

¹⁵ “Because of all their wickedness in Gilgal,^(A)
    I hated them there.
Because of their sinful deeds,^(B)
    I will drive them out of my house.
I will no longer love them;^(C)
    all their leaders are rebellious.^(D)

¹⁰ When I please, I will punish^(A) them;
    nations will be gathered against them
    to put them in bonds for their double sin.
