and vaunts himself against the Almighty,^(B)

²⁵For he stretcheth out his hand against God, and strengtheneth himself against the Almighty.

²“As surely as God lives, who has denied me justice,^(A)
the Almighty,^(B) who has made my life bitter,^(C)

²As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul;

³What if some were unfaithful?^(A) Will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness?^(B)

³For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
