¹⁰ But none says, ‘Where is God my ^(A)Maker,
    who gives ^(B)songs in the night,

⁸ By day the Lord ^(A)commands his steadfast love,
    and at ^(B)night his song is with me,
    a prayer to the God of my life.

⁶ I said,^[a] “Let me remember my ^(A)song in the night;
    let me ^(B)meditate in my heart.”
    Then my spirit made a diligent search:

⁶² At ^(A)midnight I rise to praise you,
    because of your ^(B)righteous rules.
