²⁸ And he said to the human race,
    “The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom,
    and to shun evil^(A) is understanding.”^(B)

⁵ The arrogant^(A) cannot stand^(B)
    in your presence.
You hate^(C) all who do wrong;

⁷ You love righteousness^(A) and hate wickedness;^(B)
    therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions
    by anointing^(C) you with the oil of joy.^(D)

¹⁴ Your New Moon^(A) feasts and your appointed festivals^(B)
    I hate with all my being.^(C)
They have become a burden to me;^(D)
    I am weary^(E) of bearing them.
