³⁴ I am giving you a ^(A)new commandment, ^(B)that you love one another; ^(C)just as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

^11 (A)For this is the message ^(B)which you have heard from the beginning, ^(C)that we are to love one another;

²³ This is His commandment, that we ^[a](A)believe in ^(B)the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as ^(C)He ^[b]commanded us.

²¹ And ^(A)this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God ^(B)must also love his brother and sister.

⁵ Now I ask you, lady, ^(A)not as though I were writing to you a new commandment, but the one which we have had ^(B)from the beginning, that we ^(C)love one another.
