¹⁵ When Gideon heard the account of the dream and its interpretation, he bowed in worship. Then he returned to the camp of Israel and said, “Arise, for the Lord has handed over to you the camp of Midian!”

⁹ If they ^[a]say to us, ‘Wait until we come to you’; then we will stand in our place and not go up to them. ¹⁰ But if they ^[b]say, ‘Come up to us,’ then we will go up, for the Lord has handed them over to us; and ^(A)this shall be the sign to us.”
