¹⁵ Moses slaughtered the bull and took some of the blood,^(A) and with his finger he put it on all the horns of the altar^(B) to purify the altar.^(C) He poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. So he consecrated it to make atonement for it.^(D)

⁶ The priest is to splash the blood against the altar^(A) of the Lord^(B) at the entrance to the tent of meeting and burn the fat as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.^(C)

²² So they slaughtered the bulls, and the priests took the blood and splashed it against the altar; next they slaughtered the rams and splashed their blood against the altar; then they slaughtered the lambs and splashed their blood^(A) against the altar.
