34 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem,(A) who kills the prophets and stones(B) those who are sent to her.(C) How often I wanted to gather your children(D) together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings,(E) but you were not willing!(F) 35 See, your house is abandoned to you.(G) I tell you, you will not see me until the time comes when[a] you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord’!”[b](H)
