⁶⁴ “You have said it,”^[a] Jesus told him. “But I tell you, in the future^[b] you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of the Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”^(A)[c]

³⁸ For whoever is ashamed^(A) of Me and of My words^(B) in this adulterous and sinful^(C) generation,^(D) the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory^(E) of His Father^(F) with the holy^(G) angels.”^(H)

¹¹ They said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up into heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come in the same way that you have seen Him going into heaven.”^(A)

¹⁰ and to wait^(A) for His Son^(B) from heaven, whom He raised from the dead^(C)—Jesus, who rescues us^(D) from the coming wrath.^(E)

¹⁶ For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout,^[a](A) with the archangel’s^(B) voice, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ^(C) will rise first.
